Something I do with my phone at work (LG G6) which has a downward facing speaker is: I will wedge it into a roll of packing tape. a baffle of this size should throw the sound forward, you can then chop it down untill you find a minimum working size, then rework it again if your trying to get stereo (as separation is important, more so as you go smaller) 6" * 6" and mount it right dead in the middle, flush with the flat surface. That's not to say there are not a few things you can try. So its not like other speakers that you have to build out an enclosure for so they sound correct. Had to have a look at the data sheet to be sure, but it looks like the speaker is self contained.
